The first course in the LA Section designed to prepare examinees to successfully pass the ASQ CSSBB exam. The course will follow the ASQ’s Body of Knowledge. The exam application, and current BOK can be found on ASQ’s website at: www.asq.org . The certification also requires one (or two) Six Sigma projects. All projects must be completed and verified by an affidavit, and sent for approval to ASQ.
The ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is designed for those who have a comprehensive understanding of Six Sigma and its methodologies. The exam is a great idea for those who wish to advance to Black Belt Level from a Green Belt level.
The exam itself is 4 hours, and 150 multiple-choice questions
DeSimone International has developed the Six Sigma Review Course to help applicants meet all of the requirements for successful certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt through ASQ. The course will include are required Six Sigma Blackbelt Project. Each participant must follow a special study plan developed for him/her by the instructor at the beginning of the course.
Class Procedure: The method of instruction will be to present in class, a detailed coverage of each of the areas in the BOK, followed by a discussion and review of exam type questions. The instructor will make every effort to tailor the instruction so that it relates to the actual exam, as well as how the material is applied to the defined Six Sigma Projects. Each class session will also allow time to apply the tools and methodologies to the projects, and the instructor will review progress, providing instruction to each participant.
